Default How to lower just the bass side of the saddle?

How do I lower my guitar's action on the bass side by using the saddle? Sanding off just that side doesn't sound right..

You could just sand the bottom but it may pinch on the ends if the slot is tight. Then you'll have to sand the ends slightly.

You can also cut the saddle into two or more pieces & adjust each section to the desired height. I've done this on one of my guitars to lower the 1st & 2nd strings independently of the others. (There's a thread on this topic here that I started a couple of years ago.)

If the radius on the top of the saddle is acceptable, you can just draw a diagonal line on the bottom of the saddle and sand to fit. As Louis states, if the saddle is a tight fit (end to end), it might need a slight touch up, but this is probably pretty rare.
