Default Ngd. Reverend double agent OG

Hey guys. Just went to Russos in Asbury Park NJ with the intention of picking up a Mexican Tele, Strat, or even a Gretsch CB like Steve Larossa has posted about. I played a whole mess of guitars, American, Mexican, Asian, new and used. None wowed me except for this Reverend Double Agent Coffeeburst OG. I'll try recording it and taking pics later. I'm very impressed. Anyone here buy a Reverend?

I don't own one but have played a few. They were all very good to excellent in build, feel and tone. I like that many of them have a different look too.

I've been REALLY impressed by Reverend guitars! Every one I've played has been excellent, both in fit and finish, as well as the changes form the standard Fender/Gibson platform. All the "mods" seem really well thought out and useful.

If I were looking to buy yet another electric guitar, I would be looking at a Reverend... and it would be tough to choose between one of the bolt-on neck or set-neck models... I kind of favor the Buckshot, but I've played Senseis that were really sweet, too!

I have to say, the intonation and tone is perfect. I like the combo of the humbucker and the P90. The bass roll-off knob is great.

And most crucial to me... the neck is silky smooth. Great frets. I really dig this guitar. Ultimately it was between a Mexican tele, a used American tele, and this one. I finally let my gut make the choice...

It's a great guitar

I'm sure that that's a great PU combo. My Ascari GT90 is a very nice guitar, but having two P90's make it a bit of a one-trick pony.

That's a beauty! Enjoy your non-conformist new guitar.

Nice, very tasteful use of the electric.

Is that a mic or a pickup in your sound hole?

Maury - thank you man. I have bought several guitars from you online. actually many - and I wish I could have bought this one from you too. I did buy it from a store I love though... playing it versus 4 Teles, and a few Gretsches.

I went in to buy the used Tele... walked out with the Rev

Ha! Don't be silly. Thank you for the gesture but that's not the way it works. Very kind of you to say that, but just not necessary. Yeah Reverends are making believers out of more players all the time. Great stuff.

My wife bought me the Pete Anderson signature model for Christmas/my birthday a couple of years ago. What a great guitar!

Great choice! I've got that pickup combo in a G & L Fallout, very versatile, and with the bass contour, you can pretty much cover everything. I have a Sensei RA, great guitar. Play and enjoy!!

Checking back in. The Rev is the real deal. It is the best electric I have ever owned. It just stays in tune, has a great neck, versatile pups and tone, and feels balanced and great when playing.

Excellent electrics for any $.
