Default **SOLD!** 2008 Santa Cruz 000 12-Fret Slot Head.

I have a beautiful Santa Cruz 000 made in 2008 offered up for sale. If you’re like me and don’t play much beyond the 12th fret, you’ll find the extra depth created by the larger sound chamber to be a good trade for the 2 additional frets you’d have otherwise. This guitar features a Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back/sides. Here are some more of the stats:

Nut width 1 ¾
String spacing
at saddle 2 3/16
Scale 25 3/8
Frets to body 12
Top Sitka Spruce
Back/Sides Indian Rosewood
Neck Soft-V
Neck wood Mahogany
Purfling Herringbone
Body Depth 3.25-4.25"
Lower Bout 15"
Upper Bout 10.875"
Waist 9.25"
Pickup K&K Pure Mini professionally installed
Case Original Armitage Case

This guitar has had a center seam separation that was caught very early and professionally repaired by my luthier. There are also two rice sized marks in the finish on the top. More pictures can be found here.

While the center seam separation does not effect the sound, but it does effect the price. I'm asking SOLD for it shipped. Paypal fees to be paid by the buyer.

For a minute there I thought..........Nahhhh! No such luck

Phil is a great person to deal with. A SCGC 000 with a little extra depth makes for a great guitar. The one I used to have, that Phil now has, answered every call.

Beautiful guitar. I love that rosewood. I have a 2005 SCGC short scale OM that is the sweetest sounding guitar I've ever heard. Santa Cruz know their way around an OM! Awesome. Good luck with the sale!

Thanks, Bozz. And thanks for posting more of the pictures. The case is just as nice as the guitar, so I'll add it here. Funny coincidence: I have a 2005 short scale OM too!

If it wasn't for the 1 3/4" neck I would come check out that fine specimen. I am just north of you in Mooresville. GLWS.

Phil
What is the string spacing at the saddle?
Was the center separation on top or back?
This is one of the best deals right now in the room!

The string spacing at the saddle is 2 3/16 (measured it to confirm). The seam separation was on the top. It was caught early. it was reglued and has remained stable for over 2 years.
