Default Pro Guitar Shop Closing

After the death of their founder, Portland-based Pro Guitar Shop has decided to close effective today. Andy Martin will move over to Reverb.com and continue his excellent gear review videos and it it looks like there is some future for Tone Report as well. I have to say this saddens me because they were an excellent outfit to help you keep up with the latest and greatest and I had excellent transactions with them. There's more HERE on their website.

Reverb will have a great fingerpicker to demo their stuff.

I just got the e-mail announcement, yes sad news yet another small music shop closing. I really like Andy's reviews and good news that Tone Report will continue .
The only somewhat good news (price wise) is the warehouse sale they are conducting to liquidate inventory. The verbiage is a bit confusing but it looks as if there may be an additional 20% beyond the discounts listed on the individual pedals.

Though he doesn't know it, Andy's sold me on at least 1 guitar - very versatile player who makes great demo vids. Sad to hear about Pro Guitar, but good to know Andy will land on his feet where he can be heard. Don't know anything about PG's ownership, Andy's business skills or finances, or even whether he'd have been interested in doing so, but I think it'd have been neat to have Andy buy into PG and run it.

I went to that link and saw the 20% off. VERY nice. They're selling everything as used/mint, so I assume there's no warranty and the gear is actually new. Or maybe it's just to avoid the return policy and there is a warranty. I should ask as I just bought 3 pedals.......

P.S. Don't bother using the make an offer button. The price they'll quote is higher than you can get with the 20% off.
