Default Are my bridge pick ups the wrong way?

Hi gents, I brought this guitar a few months back and the pick up guard was warped. So I took it off to soften it in some hot water and then weigh it down whilst t cooled down which worked great. I put it all back together but now Ive noticed that the bridge pick up seems its around the wrong way as the smallest pole pieces are on the bass side where as the middle and neck pick ups they are on the treble side.

Im 100% sure I didnt put the pick up in the wrong way as the wires were all heat shrinked so there wasn't much slack to turn it around anyway. And the bottom of all the pick ups had a v shaped which pointed towards the bridge on all 3 pick ups. But has it been put in the wrong way around by the factory or something??

I think you're right that it's backwards. Typically stock pickups have the short pole pieces under the plain strings since they interact more strongly with the magnetic field.

That may sound a little off in position 2 (bridge + middle) with the pickup swapped around like that.
