Default Comedian Jim Gaffigan

Is anyone else familiar with this comedian? Jim Gaffigan is by far my favorite comedian. His act is pretty clean and his humor surrounds things like food, family life, being Catholic and other observations about life. He is on Netflix if you haven't seen him.

I have seen him on Netflix and he is pretty funny, kinda Seinfeld type of stuff but a little edgier. Sometimes he sounds a little too effeminate for me, but hey, that's just me. FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!

Love him! His wife, Kathleen Madigan is funny too.

EDIT: See... this is how rumors get started. I thought I heard that these two were married, but when I look it up I can't find a thing about them being married. In fact, I now see photos of Jim and his wife Jeannie, who is clearly not Kathleen Madigan.

I enjoy his comedy. He hits pretty close to home when he talks about his eating habits.

As far as sounding effeminate, he often adopts the persona of a hyper critical woman in the audience "thinking out loud' in her voice complaining that he is being too dirty, or blasphemous or just not funny. This might be confusing if he doesn't preface making the comment that he is imagining someone in the audience thinking these thoughts and some people might not catch on that it is a character he is playing and not his own voice.

At first I thought the adopted persona was that of a gay character (which doesn't bother me) but upon listening closer to the things he says in that persona he is being a a hyper critical woman in the audience "thinking out loud' in her voice complaining that he is being too dirty, or blasphemous or just not funny. I do find that very funny!!

He has a sit com on TV Land too, centering on his real life and family. There have been 2 seasons available on demand on cable. We enjoyed it at my house.

I'm more of a Jim Jeffries guy, but I like all kinds of humor...
