Default First World Anxiety: Tasks that make you sweat

For me, hands down, putting on one of those "screen protectors" like on a phone or tablet. I just survived the ordeal 15 minutes ago

I honestly can't think of any other task that makes me so nervous. I was raised by a depression era mother, who came from a single mother home. The thought of making a mistake, and having to throw the product out horrifies me.

Pathetic but true.

How about you?

I did one a few days ago. I think they make it sound more complex than it is. For me, from a recent experience..... I needed to replace a faulty circuit breaker in the main 200 amp house panel. I've done it before, but makes me anxious.

It's not in the least "complex" in terms of the steps or what you have to do. It's getting it lined up right, quickly enough (or in as few tries as possible) to not allow anything to get in there and make a permament bubble, or getting a fingerprint on it.

Conceptually a piece of cake. From a Richard Fingered perspective, less so.

I dread having to change a headlight or tail light bulb. Takes me forever to wedge my hand in there correctly to where I have the actual dexterity required to remove or replace the bulb.

I sweat over anything that involves electrical current.

Even a simple lamp assembly sends me quivering to the corner.

Roofs. I like a good roof but I don't like to stand on them. (Or fix them). Heights are traumatic for me.

Windshield Wipers are a pain for me, until I learned you need to PUSH the wiper off the blade,

Hey I learned a cool trick for the clamshell style plastic packaging:

Use a regular windup can opener to cut along the edge - it's a match made in heaven.

But I've not got any tricks for easily getting into those little packs of things that have some kind of soft but strong plastic wrapped around the object and then all of it sandwiched between some cardboard. Nothing but a knife blade or scissors will work.

Having to work with some power tools; not all, but some. Like for example:
A "saws-all" or reciprocating saw, and a chain saw.

Bending sides on a $400 guitar set makes me sweat.... aside from the bending iron heat. I can't imagine what it's like with some $2000 set of Tree mahogany.

Sweatin' a match in pool or bowling while you have side action, and your horse is doggin' it...
