Noledog, I'm late to the party but I have to say that sounds fantastic! That Tak is producing some great tones on your songs. I enjoy the slight raspyness of your voice too. I wish I was half the singer.

Yo Dru, great to hear from you bro! Thanks a bunch for the super kind props. Yo my Maiden buddy got a question for ya; have you run your jam thru a Soldano brand amp before? I played one that my friend has and they are pretty sweet! Your thoughts? PM me if you like

Hey Noledog, I've never used, or even seen, a soldano amp before. I've read great things about them on guitar forums though. I'll do more reading about them tomorrow to catch up some and I'll let you know.

Very nicely done Eric. Your touch makes this song sound so good.

Sorry I'm so late to get caught up on my AGF buddies

I really like the vocal approach. You keep it real.

If anything, I would scale back on the reverb. Your voice and guitar sound pleasant enough to get by without much verb. Confidence, my friend!

Is there some chorus in there too? Either way, could be drier. It is kind of French in approach. French cooking usually involves finding an inferior piece of meat and coming up with a great sauce to put on it. But when you have tenderloin, you just kind of handle it minimally and throw it onto the grill. Less reverb sauce is needed here! Let it all hang out!

Hah! love your analogy Hamfist and it makes good sense my friend. As a novice on the recording side, yet a veteran soloist, I sometimes try to make up for my lack and since I recorded this live straight into a two track Audiobox simultaneously, I tried to phaten it up with some reverb and also give it some dimension. I'm not a fan of swishing chorus effects, but had a touch on to add some difference from song to song because this cut is part of my demo cd I use as gig promo. I really appreciate your input most kind comments!
