Default Sharky's "Guilda" first open mic

Decided to play an open mic on my b'day last Thurs nite...and debut the new & improved "Guilda" to the public. Had an amazing time- doing 2 sets of about a dozen songs, everything from blues to Neil to my own orig's (which went over extremely well).

If you've been toying with the idea of getting out and doing one of these- Just Do It already!! I had a blast and didn't have to buy a cold one all night. Cheers!

If you had told some of your friends here in South Florida, we might have shown up!

Congrats!

...What's your history with "Guilda", how old is she, and how did you improve her before her debut?

Cheers,
Sarah S.

The Open Mic was/is at the Wayward Sailor Pub in Ft. Lauderdale every Thurs. nite. It's in the same plaza as the Culture Room (a mostly Alternative Rock venue), if you know that joint.

I know both those joints! Generally, me and my pals would get our handstamp for the Culture Closet, then head to the Irish bar for a pint or two before the first set... they tend to start late at the CC. Last time I went to Wayward, they had a table setup right in front for a friggin' Texas hold'em night! You can't even use real money. What is the world coming to??? Texas hold'em in an Irish bar???
