Santa Cruz Custom H14 SB - Master Grade Adi/Old Growth Mahogany *TRADE PENDING*
I am hesitantly putting this stunning 2013 Santa Cruz Custom H14 Sunburst up for sale/trade. I have attached a link to a previous Reverb listing from a year ago by the dealer that lists specs (see additional specs below) and has fantastic pictures of this phenomenal guitar. Please note that the Reverb listing was not my listing, I am only using it for additional reference and some great pictures. I have added some additional pictures following the dealer pics below.
https://reverb.com/item/1919371-sant...-2013-sunburst Additional specs not listed in the Reverb ad: String spacing at saddle: 2-5/16" Nut Width: 1.725" (**Reverb listing states 1-11/16", but I have measured using digital calipers and actual width is 1.725"...can send pic of calipers on fretboard if requested) Body Length: 19-3/4" Upper Bout Depth: 3-1/2" at heel Upper Bout Width: 10-3/8" Lower Bout Depth: 4-3/4" at pin Lower Bout Width: 14-3/4" Width at 14th Fret: 2-3/16" Scale: 25-3/8" Neck Profile: a nice full (but not chunky) rounded shape. I would call it a nice "D" shape. Weight: 3 lbs, 11 oz Condition: 9.9/10 Comes with OHSC The sunburst finish is beautiful...in fact there is nothing on this guitar that isn't. The color in the recent outdoor pics look more "red" than is actual due to the bright sunlight; the pictures in the Reverb listing is representative of the sunburst colors. The Master Grade 1930's Old Growth Mahogany partnered with the Adirondack Spruce top and Adi bracing create an instrument that rings like a bell with excellent tonal clarity and sustain. This particular guitar was a custom order, as many SC's are. The mahogany was cut in the 1930's and has been drying since. It is old growth and is usually only used on SC's dreads. It's not used on standard models and is only used if people request it and pay the substantial upcharge for it. Please help to keep the thread clean by PM'ing me any questions or offers. I'll try to get pictures up later this week. Last edited by Gkiller; 12-30-2017 at 12:28 PM. |

Thanks!! It is truly a special one, and there is not a moment that passes where I feel I am being foolish for possibly letting it go. I'm going to be real picky about offers, but I'm open...need a real good dread strummer-friendly...preferably a Martin....but if not, I'll be more than happy to hang onto this gem. I've owned 100+ acoustics, and this ranks right up there with the best of them. I'm just in a certain groove right now......
Come and get it folks..... |

Thanks Robert! My wife just informed me a few minutes ago that I AM crazy for thinking about letting it go. She said it is the "most beautiful guitar" that I've owned...and I've owned a ton of them.....
