Default Just realized it's been a year, restrung my Taylor 324

And......come on, how can she sound so good? That or at least my mahogany top must be something because she sounds more like a Martin than anything else. No brightness, smooth velvet clarity with a deep rumble. This one isn't even the Blackwood back and sides...ordinary old ..sapele.

So, she is my go to cookout, camping, picnic, family sing along acoustic.

My little 322CE is my soft quiet porch and stage short scale electric like stage acoustic.

My OM28 is my safely at home lush rich overtone smooth Cabernet acoustic.

I hear ya, my 310ce needed strings bad, I put some Elixers on and wow, she sings like a bird! Made in 2002, sapele back and sides, and sitka spruce top, love this guitar all over again.

I love these mahogany top 324's.

Don't know why I've not picked one up yet.

I played one at GC and was surprised. Then found one here last April. Got a great deal, and best of all she sounded sweet!

I just re-strung my long neglected 312ce with Elixir HDs , (light/mediums) with a view to getting it in shape to sell it.

Sounds and plays so darned nice now, I may just have to keep it...

i try to restring all my guitars at least once every couple of months, for my 814ce i still use elixirs.

i even restring my epis every couple of months, even though i hardly play them as they are "beater" and "travel" guitars.
