Eugene Tombs! That was the guy! Thanks. I remembered the creepy boyish face, but was drawing a blank on the name.

Eugene Victor Tooms - first monster of the week. Season 1 episode 3 if I am not mistaken.

Eugene was creepy, that's for sure.

I hope Skinner is in the new series. He's one of my favorite characters. Don't know how they can bring back the Smoking Man unless it's a flashback. Even a 10 second spot would be great.

I think David Duchovny is a grossly underrated actor. I've liked him in everything I've seen him in. He is awesome in his new NBC series Aquarius. (Oh, and incidentally, Aquarius is set in LA during the time of the Tate/LaBianca murders, and there were several Martin Dreadnought sightings during the first season).
Will definitely watch! I also like Aquarius, but only have seen the first season.

My wife and I were pretty big X-philes. Also dug Millennium.

Does anybody remember the old 70s show Kolchak: The Night Stalker? It was one of my faves as a kid and Chris Carter has said it was a major inspiration for both the X-Files and Millennium.

The original series was good but it started to go downhill after season 2 or 3 (can't recall now) and I stopped watching it, that would have been about 20 years or so ago.

The first 5 seasons were amazing. I think season 6 too but season 7 started going downhill. Mulder wasn't in all the episodes and then he was gone for 8 and 9 (although I did enjoy those seasons).

I was ok with the Doggett seasons. Not what I consider classic episodes but there were some great ones.
