Default Re-fretting a carbon fiber guitar (Rainsong)

Is it the same process as a wood guitar? Any advice or tips you can give that would be different from re-fretting a wood guitar?

I did a Rainsong refret fairly recently. It was a PIA, but I can't fully remember the details. All frets will likely need gluing afterwards. The frets come out fairly easily.

Did you use heat to pull the frets?

I used heat on some frets to start. I don't think I used heat for all frets.
