21 or 22 fret acoustic guitar luthiers/manufacturers
Suggestions of quality luthiers/manufacturers who offer 21 or 22 playable frets in their cutaways? I know of Peter Sawchyn. Guitargal.com currently shows a photo of a Galloup (Great Lakes) with actually a 23rd fret at the top E string, 22 at the B & E.
Santa Cruz's H (14) has 21 frets (their literature claims 22, but I phoned and verified that their furthest-up-the-neck fret wire closes off the 21st fret). Are 22 frets typical on the Martin M-36, 37 and 38's? Thanks for all input |
