Default A string just broke

My classical is sitting next to me, I have the window behind me cracked enjoying the cook draft coming in and suddenly I hear SPROING!

Before I lived in a whole house AC abode, one of my higher strings would break in the spring and fall. I'd come home or go to play it and a string would be broken. First time I've witnessed it, and must have been the open window that did it.

I have a spare set and was thinking I should change them again since its fall.

I've never seen it happen before but I have gone to play my guitar only to realize that a string broke over night while it was just sitting there. It happens
