Default Wanted Jack Straw 000 Mahogany

This might be a long shot but I am looking for a Jack Straw 000 Mahogany acoustic. The Podium had one a couple years ago and when I hesitated it flew the coop. Bill Meyers still builds them but I would be just as happy with a used one, and could better afford it. Any leads would be appreciated.

That may be a chore to find. I don't think Bill has built more than a handful of 000's. He has done more OM's to "split a hair". I can attest that Bill's guitars are right up there with the BEST! I have known him for some years, and am so happy he is back into building "full-time". Here is my Jack Straw 000-18 Norman Blake. Best guitar I have ever played, and never fails to get player's attention!

Call Bill and talk to him. A used one will be hard to find! Dream Guitars had a couple some years back, but they didn't last long! But, good luck.

I thought I'd add a photo of my Jack Straw 000 into the mix. The sonic qualities of this instrument are extraordinary.

GPBob, I cannot see the photobucket photos. I assume this is the all mahogany 000. How long have you had it?

Yes, my 000 is mahogany. Apparently Photobucket no longer shares photos unless one upgrades their account. My guitar has a slotted head, 12 frets to the body and a sunburst top.

I think I remember playing your guitar in Bill's old shop! Bill loves working with Mahogany!

I have been in contact with Bill Meyer and he told me he has made 12 of the 000 17 mahogany guitars. So I will not expect to get too many offers of the Jack Straw I am looking for. Might have to pare down whats in the closet and list a couple here in order to get one of these beauties. Decisions decisions, lol.

I am bumping this up one more time in the hopes that someone might have or know of a 000 Jack Straw for sale. Only a handful out there so I know it's a long shot.
