Andrew, you might not know this but Yama ha developed and used an industrial standard giant "opening up" machine many years prior to the tiny Tonerite.

Default Another bright Taylor...

I haven't read every post here but...

The best sounding guitar is the one you are holding right now. It may be bright, it may be dark. Just play it. Change the strings or whatever.

Quit judging. Just play.

Here is 'Inconsequential'. Which is truth. But not for everyone. And maybe bright...That is what the base knob is for...It is truth in the tips of your fingers.

I hope you listen to and enjoy 'Inconsequential' on soundcloud, while it lasts.

best to all

Fascinating, I want to learn more but googling turned up nothing.

Even Yammie's Youtube video about their factory (though apparently uploaded in 2010) said nothing about it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpTdU3mhZW0

If Yammie, which per the above video makes half a million guitars a year, is doing this it must be effective.
Otherwise these smart business people would not spend the bucks.

Silly Moustache, how can I learn more?
What's your source for your claim?
