I agree with your assessment Dave. The string spacing is a hair tighter but I don't find it bothers me much if at all. They do amplify well...my one "plug and play" as my other guitars have K&K Mini's. I find the scale length interesting at 25" and I've been using 13's on mine with no issues. Maybe a little bit more volume.

I'm glad it suits your needs...a lot of guitar for sure!

Man, I love Yamaha guitars…

If I get my hands on one of these I know I will buy one. I must avoid, avoid, avoid!

Ok, I mean if you already have an easy playing, smooth sounding dreadnought with near perfect plugged in reproduction and warm rhythm tones, then heck you don’t need it anyway. ;-)
