Default KookaLaaLeee Ansil Swaggerty instrument (1950's -1970's)

i just came home today to Find a kookalalee on my front steps , My grandma found it at a Church sale

it is in amazing condition, was made by an Artist named Ansil Swaggerty in the 1950's until 1970's sounds really good when played

anyone know what these sell for ? very strange looking instrument but it sounds amazing





would be nice to Find More of these Instruments Ansil Swaggerty was an Artistic Genious hopefully people can Remember his name for a long time to come

Very asian in overall design, except the heart is pure American "naive". I'd pick one up in a heartbeat if I ran across one! Congrats and enjoy!

i have seen that website before..some good info about the Instruments =)

only seems to be 1-3 websites with any real info about Ansil Swaggerty

Never even seen a picture of the man

glad to have found this instrument Almost like it found me !!

Anyone else Ever Own a Ansil Swaggerty Instrument ??

there should be a Swaggerty Club for everyone who still has one of these Gems =) such a beautiful instrument to look at each morning when I wake up hahah
