Strymon are great but pricey.

I love my TC HoF Reverb, great sounds and variation and of course the Tone Print option where can store an additional preset from their range of custom ‘verbs or even (I think) create your own.

Strymon can be overkill. The Digitech Polara is superb and cost competitive.

Lots of good choices here. Add Neunaber to the list to checkout

I just got the HOF 2. The “Shimmer” setting is crazy good!

You really ought to try a Neunaber. I have a stereo wet reverb unit and it sounds gorgeous to me. Simple to use and reasonably priced.

Yep, lot's of very good suggestions in this thread. I have the Neunaber Seraphim reverb and it's a very good pedal. Definitely worthy of consideration.

I've accumulated several reverb pedals, always looking for the right one for live use. I have a Big Sky, which is incredible, but takes up a lot of room, and there are lots of knobs, and it seems like overkill at times - it can create all these incredible sounds, and then I just use it for a simple reverb sound... I have a Neunaber, and also a TC Hall of Fame. Both of these can create great sounds, especially if you mess with the editors and create custom settings. The TC Toneprint editor has more tweaking options than the Neunaber's software, but the options on the Neunaber are well chosen, simpler, and sound great. Hard to pick one :-)

I think anyone in the market for a reverb pedal should at least take a good look at the Source Audio Ventris. It's the most amazing reverb pedal I've ever played. It sounds great. It has two processors (read, two reverbs in one - the only one on the market with this feature). Multiple reverb engines. Great user interface. I could go on...

if your not stuck on a pedal. The Alesia Midiverb is
an outstanding old school rack mount reverb.
and you can pick them up on ebay for 50 bucks.
i use the left and right side for mandolin and guitar.

Strymon Flint is my mainstay. Just enough adjustments and not too much.

+1 for the BOSS RV-6. It does everything you want in a Reverb pedal. Excellent quality, dependable and built like a tank!

Demo'd a few reverb pedals today, as I'm on the hunt for something different as well. I have a TC HOF Mini that I love - sounds great, super easy use. Tried out a Digitech Polara and a Keeley Caverns 2 today.

The Polara sounded excellent. The plate and halo settings were awesome. It also has reverse - it's pretty cool - but not sure how often that'd be used. The pedal graphics make the settings terribly difficult to read, so that's kind've annoying, but outside of that, the pedal is great!

The Caverns 2 was also awesome. The spring reverb is great and the shimmer is excellent. The delays are also nice, definitely usable, but not quite as nice as some other pedals. I actually prefer the EHX Canyon or TC Flashback, but the Caverns 2 is a nice space saving box. I'd like to try a Flint at some point... does anyone use a Flint as an 'always on' reverb?
