Bose L1 Compact Wireless Shipping Now!
A couple of us were correct and here is one example of what are likely more Bose Wireless PA products to come: https://www.bose.com/en_us/products/..._adapter_black
With statements like the following on the Bose website perhaps the Sound Touch may also be adapted for usage with existing Bose L1 Compact systems? * SoundTouch Wireless Link adapter converts L1 Compact into a SoundTouch wireless music system allowing Bluetooth or Wi-Fi music streaming * The SoundTouch Wireless Link can be connected to your L1 Compact using the included 3.5 mm mini-stereo patch cable.

I would have much preferred a second mic channel.

I just don't see that much value in spending $135-$150 more for the Bose BT device ..
To basically play audio from my Smartphone, iPad or tablet through the L1C speaker. Could do basically the same thing for $20 with say a Logitech BT adapter.. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Blue...ech+980-000910 |

Wireless?
Uhm, that's msleading. I was disappointed to learn you still need cables for mics and for your guitar. Wireless is only for iPods and such sending prerecorded music to it. I never do that. |

Yea it's like they didn't even try at all. For a product that's almost a decade old, Bose could've definitely done a lot more

Bluetooth is a big buzzword in consumer electronics so they made a slight adjustment to accommodate that. And you can bet there's humans out there who will buy them and play tunes from their cellphones through them and be perfectly happy doing it. Hey, it's meaningless to me -- a proud dumb phone owner -- too. I'll be keeping my humble L1C recently bought used for half the price of the new bluetooth model. Now won't I be floored if they really upgrade the T1! |

When I think of something game-changing with wireless and amps, I think of built-in receivers for guitar and vocals or the ability to control an amp's settings wirelessly from a phone or other device. Streaming music doesn't matter much to me.

I really wish my T1 had blue tooth for streaming music. Now I have to unplug my bass player and run a trs cable from an iPod for break music. Plus change eq.
