I picked up my last two from eBay for something like $5.00 for two. They are fine. Just as good as the $15.00 one I bought a number of years ago. Just make sure you mount them securely.

I have used String Swing hangers for years, and I can attest that, assuming your walls are sturdy enough (mine are brick), and you fixed the hangers adequately, they are easily strong enough for a heavyweight Gibson Les Paul, leave alone a lightweight acoustic.

I bought a lovely D-41 once that had not so attractive finish deterioration where it had hung in a stand. Completely through the finish, to the wood.
That was not disclosed prior to the sale, BTW. But I know that can't happen to anyone else who hangs guitars.

Mine are secured in Hercules wall hangers with additional keyed locks:

My favorite wall hanger is the Off-the-wall brand. All metal and solid. I've got some Fret-rest hangers too, similar to the String-swing and they're good too. The key is how you secure them into the wall. For the most part cork-screw anchors work fine if they're installed right, but it's always better to screw straight into a stud. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/acces...-guitar-hanger
I know some folks like Hercules, but I've found any stand with the mechanical wingy-thingys to be more of a nuisance than a help. Perhaps the benefit to them is that you REALLY have to pay attention putting your guitar on and taking it off to make sure it doesn't get hung up on the wings. I suppose they are helpful when little kids are around. I guess that's why there is chocolate and vanilla.

I use Hercules - great wall hangers (and stands).
