Default 70's shaftesbury resonator info?

hello-
just found this site, hoping for some info.

this weekend i traded an old harmony montclair and a teisco 4 pickup guitar for a 70's shaftesbury resonator guitar. looks great sounds great, but information about it seems to be hard to come by.

japanese copy of a del vecchio dinamico is the best i've come up with so far.

anybody got something to add to that?

great site by the way!

Can't help much. I play dobro some but never heard of this one. It's a great looking instrument and if it sounds great too, then I think you got a beauty!

Never heard of Shaftesbury guitars, but it looks lovely! I grew up and learned to play guitar on a street named Shaftesbury, so I'd love having one of those for old times sake. It wouldn't happen to be serial number 143 would it??
