Default NGD - a non-jumbo 12-string

I love my Guild jumbo 12-strings - awesome guitars. But the ebay bidding on this Martin GPC12PA4 was way undervalued, and I just couldn't resist.

Well, when it arrived, it seriously need a setup. You could have shot arrows from the bow in the neck! I was hoping a setup was all it needed....

I just got it back from my local luthier and was super surprised. Heads were turning when I tried it out at the shop. This little (OM sized) 12er is a kickin' little guitar! I was thinking I'd be selling it since it's so different from my Guild 12s. But now since it's so different from my Guild 12s, I might just be keeping her!

Well, it came with a very nice Martin case.... And I don't mind the richlite fretboard. Of course, it's not as nice as ebony, but it has the same look (at a distance of 6 feet), and it's undoubtedly good and hard....

The guitar is like new, has some reasonably nice silking on the top....

It's got plenty of saddle....

Sapele (an African mahogany, iirc) back and sides....

A setup really worked wonders on this little girl. I guess I'll be keeping her around a while. Time to take the plastic off the pickguard!

Excellent! What a great find!

It has the two features lacking in my current 12 string stable: it's a Martin and a cutaway...

Enjoy!
