glueing a wood pickguard to your spruce guitar
glueing a wood pickguard to your guitar...I made a wood pick guard, i removed my taylor pick guard and used it as a templent..Looks nice...What glue or rubber cement????? should i use to glue it on...And yes ive thought it over and i am going to do it...Cheers, Solo
ps its a spruce top.....

You can buy small quantities and different adhesions of the 3m sheets from Stew Mac. Get enough to do 3 or so, there is a bit of a frustrating learning curve

Ok, after many hours of sanding and trying to get the perfect pickguard...I just went to GC got a thin black plastic one(5 bucks), cut it to size, and im done...Some of us are NOT DIY...I am one of those people...Im happy its over...Solo
