Default Wild Goose

This M. Ward cover is in a new tuning to me. D6... And it is tuned down a half step from there. Very weird, but it gives it a jangly sound. Hope you like it!

Sal that is a cool job on a weird song. Weird with a weird cool vibe. Guitar sounds great! I love that tuning and your strumming combined with the melody notes is AWESOME! Cool harmonies, your productions have really gotten good!

That is very well done, Sal! It has a long introduction...I was starting to think it was an instrumental when your vocal came in...lol! Thanks for sharing it here!

Thank you both guys. It is a weird song! I was feeling stagnant, and I took some advice to try some alternate tunings. This one fit the bill, and I dont do the real song justice. It's kind of a dream-like song. Listning back now I may re-record the vocals as they are off.

Happy Easter!

As I wrote in my song comment, if I didn't know this was a cover, I'd have said it was M Ward himself in his home studio. Kind of knocked it out of the park with this one. Great work, Sal.

Thanks Sombras. Very appreciated coming from you guys. Ps... My college boy downloaded your JJ Cale Cajun Moon. He is now doing it in his acoustic sets.

I enjoyed the song. Got to thinking it was an instrumental and then the vocals came in. Kind of a nice twist. Thanks for sharing, Ed
