Default Walden Tuner Replacement

I bought a Walden Concorda CO500 as a camping guitar a little while ago.

Darned if it doesn't sound very, very good. Several steps above it's pay grade in fact. I play it very frequently.

The tuners drive me crazy though. They are kind of loose feeling, and they aren't very precise at all.

What would be a good inexpensive replacement. Function over form for sure. I really don't want to spend a ton on new tuners, but something has to be better than what's on here. Pics below:

They look like Schaller-ish (I know they're not Schaller) tuners. Gotoh makes a great tuner that looks like it would be a drop in replacement of those: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tuners/G...ob_Tuners.html

most of those rotomatic style tuners are the same size string post and bushings. It would be best to get the model i shown above by fishstick kitty. Theyre pretty cheap, any cheaper than that and youll probably be downgrading your tuners
