I’ve been following the Enya X4 for a while and the two gripes I’ve seen were setup (resolveable) and soft frets prone to wear (not so resolveable). I’ve read that the frets are cast in place and probably not replaceable.

It seems like it’s been long enough for Enya to have become aware of this and switch to better fret material.

Does anyone know if they’ve made any strides on the fret issue?

Yikes, that is concerning... I *think* the neck might be a bolt-on neck so if that's the case, *hopefully* they can design some replacement necks that have frets that don't have this issue.
