Default Electric Guitar Repair in Atlanta area

I have a 1980 Gibson SG (that I bought new 43 years ago), and have a short somewhere in wiring on the bridge pickup. Does anyone have recommendations on someone in the Atlanta area that is good with vintage guitar repairs.
Thanks.

Could be a cold solder joint on the ground wire. Open up the back plate and have a look. Touch the top of the pot where the ground wire is soldered and see if it makes a difference. It might just need to have the solder reflowed. I had this happen to a Les Paul.

I did some research and reached out to Dave last week to see if he could fix a grounding issue on my ‘80 SG. I’m the original owner, and this guitar has literally been kept under my bed for over 35years. I just started playing again about 3 months ago. Dave was stoked just to mess around with a vintage electric in such good shape. He did an incredible job of fixing the grounding wires, cleaning up everything from rusted screws to filing down the bone nut, cleaning the tuners, and polishing the body and chrome humbuckers. He did a great job of setting up the guitar…….It looks and plays brand spanking new! I couldn’t be happier with the work Dave did. If anyone needs acoustic or electric work done, I’d suggest reaching out to Dave at Dojo guitar. (If you want to get an idea of how knowledgeable Dave is, just watch a few of Rick Beato’s videos where he features Dave and Rhett Shull.
