Something about the sound of Emily's neo-bluegrass whine/moan of her fiddle playing and Andrews very limited and measured mandolin playing...never excessive or showy, creates a tone that is very "familiar" to me in a strange way, although I have never been a bluegrass fan, and was not raised around country or folk music. Very interesting that these two would attract me so.

I wish they'd come to Springfield, MO soon. I'd love to share them with friends.
