Default Aaron Rodgers out for the season

Oh man that hurts, broken right collar bone. If there's one QB that excels when the pressure is on is Rodgers (Brady is not too shabby either). How Rodgers goes is how the Packers go, with him out of the lineup, I do not like our chances.
Will the Packers try to sign Kaepernick ? I hope not, too much baggage there, what other option is there?

Really sad news, collarbone injuries take a long time to fully heal. His arm could be affected even next season.

Kaepernick is blackballed by the owners. You'll have to settle on Johnny Manziel.

No Rodgers, no playoffs.

My daughter and I were sick to our stomachs yesterday. I think Tony Romo would be an option. The last time the Cowboys played him, he led them to a touchdown on about an 80 yard drive. I would like my chances with him more than Hundley.

As an aside, I can not believe they did not throw a flag, the guy took more than two steps after the ball was released and drove him into the ground, both illegal!!!!

Yes, the Pack is done for this year. It took him 7 weeks last time he did this and that was on his LEFT side.

Bummer... big bummer. He is SO much fun to watch. The Packers don't have enough weapons to survive without him. I just hate to see him go.

I hope he continues making commercials with his dog.

Yeah, that's my take, as well.

As for Kaepernick: His odds of being signed are now even smaller, as he has reportedly filed a grievance with the NFL and franchises, claiming collusion.

Best QB is now on the shelf. Lions win this division by default.

This is so unfortunate for Aaron and the Pack. I was watching the game.

Although I am a Broncos fan (boy did they play badly in a loss against the lowly, hurt Giants last night), I’ve long had a soft spot for my once-favorite Packers.

I'm with ya on that. He seems to be a natural on camera. Both he and Payton Manning are great in their ads.

The one with Rodgers driving with with tongue wagging out the window cracks me up!

I've been a Steeler's fan for the last 10 years. The 5-interception game (last week) was just too much for me to take! Come on, if a pitcher is done the coach puts in the reliever. After 3 interceptions, you'd a thunk they'd pull Ros'bgr - no! Let's go for another 2 interceptions. Come on! The guys having a bad day and you just let him continue to have a bad day!

I'm thinking. . . It's just football, go root for the Packers for a few years! I've always loved the Packers and I love to watch Rodgers!

Now this!

Blackball, schmackball. Kaepernick's problem is two-fold. First, he stinks as anyone who watched his pathetic attempts to pass in his last full season can attest. That by itself isn't necessarily a show stopper since he's still better than 1 or 2 backup QB's who do have NFL jobs.

But he also brings alot of non-football distractions along for the ride. That by itself isn't a show stopper either in a league populated by thugs and rogues.

Remove one or the other and he probably gets the privilege to ride the pine somewhere. Put the two together and it's game over. Instead of filing grievances that have no chance of succeeding he should start throwing footballs through a tire tied to a tree. When he gets good at that, make a video and send it in.
