Default Ryosuke Kobayashi for The Woodstock Invitational Luthiers Showcase 2017

-Rosette Work-

1.drilled the hole.



2.Routed the channels.



3.Installed the wooden ring and strips



4.Cut the grooves and drawing the triangles to be curved out.





5.Carving...



6.Done!!

Yikes! Your carves appear so consistent. That must take a certain amount of Zen to do that. Pray the phone doesn't ring in the middle of it! That is neat!

I'm imagining that just a little too much pressure and the knife will go right through the top and ruin it...the workmanship on a Kobayashi is always worth the visit to the thread to view it.
