This bridge looks incredible, your instruments have unique aesthetics, the design/geometry is one if a kind.
I love the elegant simplicity and all the innovation hidden inside the build make me very curious on the only thing missing from the silk site you have, which is of course, how they sound. Really very sophisticated approach imo.

Thanks for all the kind words! You really get my aesthetic, my goal is to build guitars that people find aesthetically pleasing without any single reason for feeling that way. The appreciation of the whole. Sound and playability of course being the most important. My guitars push a lot of air, they produce a big, clear sound, very even across the register.

I'm currently working on some good quality audio/video and should have it up on my site by December.

Thanks for taking a look at my site and build thread!

I'll be in Montreal from October 21st to the 26th if anyone is interested in playing this guitar. Contact me and we can make arrangements.

If I had to interrelate her to a woman's looks would be Helene Grimaud. Hope she sounds like her too All the best

It looks incredible Dion, have just gone back and reread the whole thread!

Love the look of the maple fretboard...are you going to seal it in some way to keep it looking good?

Thanks!

The neck is actually Spanish cedar.

I usually use iron oxide but I used a black dye this time. I prefer the iron oxide and will return to it for future necks.

Thanks! I'm really pleased with aesthetics on this one, but more importantly the preliminary string up indicates it's going to sound great!

I just finished applying a very thin, coat of epoxy on the fingerboard to seal and garden the maple. The colour really came out!
