Default Tux Cat Music contest winners

The cat in our logo is no longer nameless. Say hello to P.B. Kitstring! The winning entry had this to say about him: "Such a fancy looking cat can only go by initials because only the most refined figures in history have done the same. Kitstring comes from a reference to catgut strings. Kit from a reference to another stringed instrument (kit violin or fiddle) or the more obvious 'cat' reference."

First runner up: Mr. Dandycat - "His suave, yet sophisticated, personality shows his taste for the classics, but he is a feline that has followed the evolution of the guitar and it's elegant vibrations throughout his 9 lives. Plus, he can sell anyone 100 guitar strings with a wink of an eye."

Second runner up: Mr. Spiffy

Honorable Mention
There were more than 3 good ideas, here are our favorites from the rest.

Ritz/Ritzy

Catticus Finch
... it was a sin to kill a mockingbird.
Jem: Why?
Atticus Finch: Well, I reckon because mockingbirds don't do anything but make music for us to enjoy. ... they don't do one thing but just sing their hearts out for us.

Cat Stevens

Maurice

Bertrand Catster - "...looking at him, I rather think of one Bertie Wooster."

Tweeter - "...then you can add a dog named Woofer!"

Thanks to all who entered.

Cheers,
Jim
