Default Big Hole Repair

When you can't hide it, just embrace it. Not an acoustic repair but was pretty fun.

Before

Patched/slight stain, didn't want to go too dark since it'd stand out too much that way. Function over perfection.

Nasty one to have to repair.

At times, I have done feature "Inlays" or "Intarsias" to hide damaged areas like that.

Good repair! Given its location, you may have hidden it with a custom pick-guard.
