Default Beppe Gambetta workshop & concert -- Avon Lake, OH

On Saturday June 24 Beppe will lead a flatpicking workshop at my home here, about 20 miles west of Cleveland. The workshop will run from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm with an hour break for lunch. There will be a maximum of five students so everyone will get some personal attention. The evening concert - also at my home - will take place around 7:30 pm. If you are at the workshop and want to stay for the concert, you are welcome to hang out here, maybe with some jamming.

The workshop cost is $75, and the concert costs $15. If you are interested, contact me (Frank Lee) [email protected] or (440) 541-4363. A $25 deposit will hold your slot. All proceeds go directly to Beppe.

I've been to a couple of Beppe's workshops. He is a wonderful teacher who has an amazing knowledge of and reverence for American flatpicking, and is one of the nicest, friendliest people you could hope to meet.

We catch Beppe's sets each year at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Ks in September. The most gracious and talented gentleman you could ever hope to meet. Wish we were closer. If you're in the area, I guarantee you will not be sorry you spent time with this amazing guitarist.

They have had him at least a couple years in a row at the Roaring Brook Nature Center in Avon, CT. He is a wonderful player and a very gracious guy.

Default Beppe

Beppe has played here (www.rockytopconcert.weeby.com) a few times and, quite naturally, everyone loves him. Good singer, tremendous flatpicker, and utterly charming - only it's not put on; he really is that nice. And so is Frederica. He is one of a very few that have invited me to play with him. We can't wait until he has a chance to return.

Default Not too late...

If you are considering the workshop, we can fit in one or maybe two more. The concert is pretty much sold out, but of course if you come for the workshop we'll make room at the concert.
