Tom, Watching your build and Dennis's build make me anxious to, at some point, resume a build of my own. The inlays for this guitar are strikingly pretty. this should be a gorgeous guitar.
Those Kinnairds have been hard at it...building some amazing instruments.

Ahhhh, the long, long, wait for finishing....I thought I was mentally prepared for this psychological test of endurance, but alas, I am weak and need to seek strength from somewhere deep inside...or possible several adult beverages from somewhere outside will do the trick

As one who hasn't had the experience yet ... cool your jets. The prize is right around the corner.

While the boss was away, Ryan did some other work beside build a whole new guitar hahaha, he got my frets installed. There was some concern raised by some (and rightfully so) in how they would look cutting across the big luckenbooth inlay....I think all in all, they look good despite going through the 12th fret inlay some.

Beautimus! And to be clear, I wasn't really thinking about how they would look with frets. I just thought cutting the slot through the the silver may be nerve racking. Great job Ryan!

Looks great, Ryan and Tom!
Is the fret at the bottom of the fretboard going to be open where it meets the curved inlay? That might look kinda cool!

That's the plan, but it won't be installed until after the neck is on the body.

Yes, I think it will look cool, will frame that inlay even more. There is also one more Celtic cross inlay to go on below the 12th fret inlay....

That inlay job is epic. Somehow I missed this thread when all the action was going on with the silver hearts. Awesome job all around.
