Great performance by G Love on a tricone
He's playing some Leadbelly. Just goes to show how much of it is in the hands. My Style 1 NEVER sounds like that. I go for a clear clean sound (don't own or want a steel single cone), but I absolutely love what he's getting out of that guitar! I'm going down the G love rabbit hole. See you on the other side!

Thanks, Blue! Rabbit hole, indeed, now I've got a National Tricone or Style O on my mind! I saw Son House in concert, here in Rochester, New York, back in November 1964. He was one of Pete Seeger's guest performers and it was Son's second public concert after coming out of retirement. I got Son's autograph in Pete Seeger's, How To Play The 5-String Banjo book as Son, his wife and Dick Waterman crossed the parking lot behind the Eastman Theatre on their way home.
