Default Slothead angle

What angle do you prefer and why? I see various recommendations for the scarf joint ranging from 10 to 15 degrees.

Fifteen degrees is normal for a flat head. Slot heads don't need as much angle because the tuner shafts are further down. That provides the fifteen degree angle at the nut that is more or less nominal. None of this is Holy Writ. I've seen successful guitar with a slot head angle of seven degrees, while lutes use close to a ninety degree angle.

I've always just measured and cut 15deg for any type of guitars. After hand planing it then it turns out to be x degrees.
