Default A solid week with my cargo

I received my cargo from a shop in Arkansas last friday, and have since gigged with it 7 times. I'm in love. I play plugged in almost 80% of the time, and the electronics are great. Unplugged I love it as well. I can leave it in the car....dreamy. I played a poolside bible study last night, sounded awesome, 40 something people, heard perfectly. My lowden and larrivee have been in the closet. I know the honeymoon will wear slightly off, but I don't see this guitar NOT being my main gigging guitar. I don't mind putting wear on my guitar, but my Lowden looks 10 years old after 2 months. It's such a comfortable guitar! I strung it up with mediums, I really like them. Just thought I'd share my worthless 2cents. Love this forum, always great!

I'm hearing a lot of great things about the cargo. I don't know of too many travel sized guitars that are taking on main guitar roles.

btw... I enjoyed your clip on myspace.

Sounds like you scored well on that Cargo.

I enjoyed your You Tube videos - very, very nice, please keep up your ministry.

Peace & blessings to you both.

Thanks for sharing.

I've had my CA Cargo for about two weeks and I'm just loving the sound. How different does it sound with the mediums compared to the elixir lights? What kind of mediums is it strung with?

I got my Cargo a little over a month ago and it's doing its job just fine. So far it's been to one race with me, in Watkins Glen, NY, and is currently at my office. Tomorrow it's going to a hotel with me, then another race in a couple of weeks (I rarely used to take a guitar to a race) and another trip right after that. It's also scheduled for a cruise at the end of the year.

Glad I bought it. It sounds and plays great and I never worry about leaving it in the car. My wife thinks it's wonderful...she just wants them to make a blue one so she can buy another.

How is the Cargo for fingerstyle ? Is there a good balance between basses and trebles or is it too much "boomy" ?
Thanks.

It's a bit boomy, but it still sounds really nice played fingerstyle.
