Default Ditto x2 all purpose recording? Any Users?

I do not have one, but am curious... The ditto x2 is supposedly a very high quality sound device, and it can store the audio files on your computer.

So, Can you create a loop and then export it to your DAW and get a good recorded guitar sound without micing your amp or using any interface?

I mostly ask because I like the way my setup sounds live, but can't seem to find the right mic'ed sound for getting it the same as it sounds live.

Yes, you could record up to a 5 minute 'loop', then send it to your computer. The Ditto itself becomes the interface (although not in real time). If you think the plugged-in version of your guitar sounds better than miking it, you're doing something wrong when miking it!
