Ditto x2 all purpose recording? Any Users?
I do not have one, but am curious... The ditto x2 is supposedly a very high quality sound device, and it can store the audio files on your computer.
So, Can you create a loop and then export it to your DAW and get a good recorded guitar sound without micing your amp or using any interface? I mostly ask because I like the way my setup sounds live, but can't seem to find the right mic'ed sound for getting it the same as it sounds live. |

Yes, you could record up to a 5 minute 'loop', then send it to your computer. The Ditto itself becomes the interface (although not in real time). If you think the plugged-in version of your guitar sounds better than miking it, you're doing something wrong when miking it!
