Ron Kirn Custom Barnbuster Telecaster - SOLD
Sold off forum
Wanting to sell a Ron Kirn Barnbuster Tele Custom built in early 2011 in practically new condition as it has probably only been played for about 2 - 3 hours total. I had this custom made because I wanted an electric for when I got bored playing my acoustics, well, that hasn't worked out because I never play the electric. The following custom options are: · Classic C neck 9.5” radius with 1 5/8" nut width (best I could measure with a tape measure) · Gotoh Bridge · 4 way switch · Kirn Vintage Wound Pickups I have the original Black pickguard that will go with it, I opted to go without a pickguard as I liked the character of the wood. The pickguard was never install so there are no screw holes in the wood. I prefer a sale, but will consider trading for an X braced Waterloo or newer Martin 000-18...

Thanks yoni!! The neck on this thing is amazing as well, super fast and easy. I'd keep it but some big boy responsibilities have come up recently and since this one is the biggest case queen she made the chopping block.
For those of you who have never heard of Ron Kirn, he is a highly respected custom Tele builder. Vintage Guitar magazine did an article a few years back classifying him as one of the top 5 tele builders. I'll try to get a link to the article posted soon.
