Traded in my Gibson Songwriter Deluxe Standard today for a Fender Pink Paisley Telecaster 68 reissue.

Pumped for this one, like a kid at Christmas I can't wait!

No, local shop. The Strat is incoming with their next Fender order, knowing my luck it will probably arrive while I'm gone for the holidays.

Is this one of the Japanese ones? I had a pink paisely japanese strat that was a great player and it was light as a feather! At the time only the blue flower teles were available, or I would have completed the set with a tele

Yes, it is a Japanese Telecaster.

I played one at one of the box stores and it was magic.
Unfortunately the tried to shaft me on the trade value.
Skipped on down the road to a local shop and they had no issue or qualms about making the trade.

Well, now that I am.back in Canada for the holidays I'm pretty sure I will get the call tomorrow that the Tele is in.
