I had a '62 with PAFs for about 5 years. My ex wife got into deep debt and rather than show her the door, I sold it to Norm's Rare guitars.

Enjoy your news guitar. Hold on to it tightly.

I have a 2005 ES-335 in the flame cherry finish and it is everything I've ever wanted in an electric guitar (tone and playability). The only thing I changed on the guitar was the tuners. I wasn't crazy about the Grover Rotomatics so I swapped them for some TonePros Kluson keystones. I don't use effects - just guitar, cable and tube amp. The controls on the amp and the guitar are all I need.

Enjoy!

Should be here sometime tomorrow. Then the really hard part: waiting for it to warm back up so I can open it. The anticipation is killing me!

Good call. 335's are probably my favorite Gibson design. They just...work.
