Mine would definately be "Feeling Good Again" by Robert Earl Keen. The words perfectly catch the great feeling of coming home again after being away.

"Baby I Love Your Way" by Peter Frampton. I know it's not an acoustic song but it's one I like to play because of the lyrics and how they describe the passage of time so visually: "shadows move so far before my eyes", "moon appears to shine and light the sky with the help of some fireflies" and the like. I can close my eyes and picture the scene and the tone of the music puts me right there in my mind's eye.

That song just takes me back to some great memories when I was young.

I also chose this song, many great memories attached to it for me also.

There are a few videos of Frampton playing this on an acoustic. I always thought of it as an acoustic song.

Probably not the best sample, but a great song.

First thing that comes to mind is anything from the Beach Boys. I love that full of summertime beach going surfing type of vibe, especially during the winter months when it sounds oddly out of place as snowstorms are raging around the house.

During the warm season I love 'cool' songs, songs about antarctica and ice cream and the Beach Boys.

Hawaiian slack key. My favorites that I've learned so far are Moe 'Uhane, Kalena Kai and Pohukaloa.

What song takes me to a happier place? There are so many.... usually the ones I'm currently working on, or recently mastered, come to mind, but nearly anything I learn has a reason for being in my book. The truth is, when the magic makes an appearance the happy place is always achieved.
