Ibanez Trubadour Amps
I'm wondering, for practice purposes, what you folks think of the 20 amp Ibanez Trubadour.
Any BAD experiences with either the Ibanez Amps or the Trubadour series? I'm just looking for something small for home, to go with the new Breedlove Pro Series C25/CR that I purchased. (no pics yet, sorry). I'll probably string it with D'Addario EXP Phosphorus Bronze strings most often, up to .053 or .054 -Nutmegger1957 |

Well I can see by the numerous responses that THIS product won't be in my home..........teehee.
Maybe a "Kustom" amp instead!! |

Don't give up on the Ibanez Troubadour. I have a TA25 that works just great for anything from in-home, to small venues. All the right effects and nice acoustic sound. I replaced it with a larger amp, so I have it up for sale on Craigs List, if your in my area.
Here's the CL listing http://sarasota.craigslist.org/msg/1114906930.html Gary

Really not a bad amp at all. Cheap!! I use mine for small venues. Best for coffee houses and stuff. Sounds great with my CA. Yes, I am serious! I was impressed by the sound, for the money. I like having to carry just the amp and not a PA system. Did I mention it's cheap? I'd go for it.
I should have mentioned that mine is a TA-35.

I use a TA35 too and I love it... it sounds great even when the EQs are flat on my £80 Santa Ana guitar with Artec HT-TBL pickup at flat EQ as well!
It also sounds fantastic with my Ovation Elite. The only complaint I have about it is the fact that it picks up radio interference when I plug in the Reverb/Chorus pedal or CD in cables. Other than that, it's perfect! |

HI,
I also stll have TA35 that I used couple of years ago, it's not a bad one for a one man band especially considering the price. I liked it when I used it for about a year then I upgraded to the more powerful ones (Fender PD250 and now Fishman Soloamp). It's very usable at the small coffee shops, gave out a nice sound both guitar and vocal but again at 35 watt you can't expect much. And I think it has some nice switches to play around and get nice sound out of it. Conclusion; Not bad for what you will pay, and you can learn a lot from this small Amp (which I used as PA!)
