"Take It Easy". I can never get enough of that song. Jackson Brown's version has a pleasant sliding guitar, but the "Eagles" make me soar.

James Taylor's "Carolina In My Mind" takes me to a happy place though I've never been to North Carolina, but then, it's about going home in your mind where ever that may be.

"Lilinoe" (which means goddess of the mists) by Jeff Peterson takes me back to the misty green mountains above Manoa Valley, Hawaii. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykwTxq71aaI

I'd have to say "Carolina In My Mind" is one that makes me feel pretty good, as well.

Two more from this guy in Western Canada;

Andrew Peterson - "World Traveler"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=187ck8_dwTE

Glenn Tillbrook - This Is Where You Ain't (song starts at 2:30)
(Actually a sad tale, but a song that for some weird reason, gets me going...)

Only one, a few years back while he was living in the Nashville area still, I had the chance to work at Michael's home studio. We spent the whole time talking antiques and it was a blast. He's shorter than I would've thought.

"Whiskey and You" by Chris Stapleton.
It's a sad song but it takes me to a happier place because I love to perform it.

Lately, it's been 'A Beginning Song' off the last album by The Decemberists. Beautiful song.

A few years ago I was in Austin visiting my kids and grandkids when my daughter put on "Some Nights" by Fun. We all started dancing and singing and acting goofy. Now when I hear it, it takes me back there.

"Summertime Dream" by Gordon Lightfoot
"Tupelo Honey" by Van Morrison
"Joy to the World" by Three Dog Night
"Musta Got Lost" by J. Giles Band
"Me and Billy the Kid" by Joe Ely
