Default A New Tune Of Mine - 'I Don't Go To Church'

Hey Everyone!

I thought I'd share the new single off my upcoming record that will be available on Tuesday, (for free!) It's entitled 'New England Elizabeth.' The single for the album is 'I Don't Go To Church.'

Enjoy!

Best,
Rivers

Wild! Love the sentiment and dig your spacey-grit. Good luck with your record.

Nice. I detect a litte Lyle Lovett influence there.

Thanks guys!

I've had a pretty positive response to it so far. Very excited for the full record release on Tuesday.

Oh, and I love me some Lyle Lovett!

That one is right up my alley- bluesy gospel-even a little slide! Nicely done with lyrical twist to boot! Do I detect some Porch Pickers influence there?

Glad you enjoyed it, Walt! I do love the Porch Pickers! I wanted to record a tune that didn't take itself seriously, but employed elements from some of my favorite bluesy, gospel styles. Plus, Lou Reed is my pastor, and Patti Smith is my saint
