Recording from Pickup
Hi,
just wanted to ask who of you records just from a PU and gets satisfying results. I had this video in mind and think that the sound is quite good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUIu5lGclL4 Just recorded directly from a Dazzo. I ask because I am thinking of recording outside and then taking the signal from Dazzo/DPA4061 to a Grace Felix and then an audio interface. What do you think?

I have a few test recordings made with a M1A, M-80, and Lyric pickups. They sound okay but that's it, just okay. The best acoustic guitar sound I get is with the Neumann TLM-102's. I was hoping to get good recordings with pickups, but it didn't work out for me. Once I heard the Neumanns, there was no going back.
