plus shipping This is a well kept very clean 1988 Martin HD-28P dreadnought with a performance neck style for smooth, quick and easy fingerboard playing that is in excellent condition overall with the exception of a few light dings. The HD-28P features scalloped bracing for greater enhanced soundboard top vibration and tone response than its famous sibling D-28 that has straight bracing. The "performance" neck profile is clean, smooth, and fast. The solid sitka spruce top has herringbone purfling, and is bound around a 2-piece east Indian rosewood back and EIR sides. The nut width is 1-11/16" with 14 open frets and the action for the low E string at the 12th fret is a hair under 4/32". There is an adjustable truss rod. With 26 years under its belt, this Martin offers a very nice aged vintage tone and is the instrument of choice for bluegrass pickers, and fingerstyle players.
